Researchers from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan have come up with a prototype system that could change the way we treat cancer forever. Thanks to this device, we might be able to abandon chemotherapy or invasive surgery completely. This device uses nano-magnetic particles and it raises the temperature of the tumor. When temperature is raised by this technology from 41.5°C to 46°C/107°F to 115°F the cancer cells are destroyed while normal cells are left unharmed. As for magnetic particles, in order to guide them, this system uses accurate 3D Magnetically Guiding Endoscope System.
