Recently a Japanese specialist in robotics unveiled a new robotic walker.
Dubbed the Land Crawler eXtreme, the robot represents a project of Dutch sculptor Theo Jansens, who is behind Vagabond Works.
The video launched online shows a 12-legged mobile platform that can be used to carry a load of up to 175 pounds. It can also be used for transportation, being able to move very smoothly.
It would be interesting ton note that the Land Crawler eXtreme was developed by Jansens at the request of his son.
