# Finding the phase current given total input power and phase voltage

**1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data**

Here is the question along with the solution:

Originally, what I did was I took the total power and divided it by the rms voltage. However, it is obvious that this is the wrong method. The solution does something weird, does anyone know what is going on here?

I honestly am not even sure where to start with this one.

How did they know the phase angle is 30 degrees?
